Designed to accelerate POC/POV cycles, this feature lets non-technical stakeholders enable automation themselves.
What's new:
- New Automation screen in Cluster Settings — enable automation at the cluster level and toggle individual workloads on/off in bulk or one by one.
- Also accessible via shortcut button "Automate" from Overview screen if autoscaler is installed but not yet configured.
- Safe coexistence with CRD automation — if a ClusterAutomationConfig CRD is applied, it automatically takes priority and the UI shows that automation is "Managed by CRD"
- Only Admin users can configure automation via UI
- Configure Keep CPU Limit — the cluster-level restriction toggle. For more advanced config, switch to CRD-based automation.
- Enable or disable automation for a single workload from its Zoom-In screen without leaving the workload view
- All changes are tracked in the Audit Log — enable/disable events recorded at both cluster and workload level
