KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2025 Highlights

Tania Duggal

Hey friends! We are back from Hyderabad after attending KubeCon + CloudNativeCon India 2025 (August 6–7), and my head is still buzzing with all the energy, conversations, and ideas.

The 2024 event felt like a family reunion for the cloud-native community, and this year… let’s just say Hyderabad took that feeling, sprinkled in more warmth, and added a whole lot of chai.

Let’s rewind to those two action-packed days.

From the moment I stepped into the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, the buzz was unmistakable. You could hear the hum of excited conversations everywhere between old friends catching up, new people swapping LinkedIn QR codes, and engineers discussing everything from GenAI workloads to eBPF magic.

Unlike some tech events where it’s easy to feel lost in the crowd, this one had a strong “we’re all in this together” vibe. People weren’t just networking, they were genuinely sharing stories, challenges, and “aha!” moments.

Big Takeaways

Keynotes at a Glance

The keynotes this year set the tone for big, forward-looking conversations:

Kubernetes for GenAI: The New OS of the AI-First World: Janakiram MSV delivered a brilliant talk about how Kubernetes isn’t just for microservices anymore; it’s quickly becoming the go-to platform for AI workloads. The way he connected infrastructure orchestration to GenAI’s real-world needs was spot-on.

Pushing the Limits: Scaling ArgoCD’s Repo-Server to Handle 30K Applications: Aditya Sharma & Isha Gusai (Expedia Group) gave us a look into how they scaled GitOps in one of the most demanding environments possible. Their lessons on tuning performance while keeping things stable will stay with me for a while.

From Outage to Observability: Lessons from a Kubernetes Meltdown: Saiyam Pathak & Arnab Chatterjee walked us through a real outage story, and showed how observability tools and culture changes can turn chaos into clarity.

Talks That Stuck with Me

With 50+ breakout sessions, picking favorites is tough but a few stood out:

Auto-instrumentation for GPU Performance with eBPF: I’m a sucker for clever engineering, and this talk delivered exactly that automating GPU metrics collection in a way that feels like magic.

Children’s Guide to LLMs on Kubernetes: Accessible, fun, and surprisingly deep. This was proof that explaining complex tech in simple words is an art.

I also loved the panels around developer experience especially “IDP as a Product,” which reframed internal platforms as something to delight, not just manage.

Discussion with Leaders

We also had the chance to speak with well-known names in the cloud-native world, Prerit Munjal and Mumshad Mannambeth, founder of KodeKloud, for a quick-fire talk. We asked them about:

1. How AI is reshaping the industry, the biggest Kubernetes challenges they’re tackling right now?

2. FinOps angle: Where they see Kubernetes costs heading in the future. Their perspectives were refreshingly candid, blending technical insights with a grounded view of where the ecosystem is headed.

This discussion gave us fresh insights from two of the most respected voices in the industry. We’ll be sharing the full video of these conversations on our LinkedIn soon. Stay tuned!

PerfectScale by DoiT at KubeCon India

The expo hall was alive. Around 30 booths from the big names like AWS, GitHub, and Grafana Labs to innovative startups, each brought something unique.

Once again, PerfectScale by DoiT made a memorable appearance at KubeCon India, this time at Booth S12 in Hyderabad. The energy was buzzing. Our team greeted visitors with live demos, stickers, and candid discussions. We walked engineers, DevOps advocates, and FinOps professionals through how PerfectScale delivers real-time visibility, autonomous right-sizing, and intelligent scaling across EKS, GKE, AKS, or even multi-cluster environments. And the best part? People saw immediate value, many remarked how it could help them cut cloud spend by up to 50% while keeping performance and reliability in check.

KubeCon India 2025 wasn’t just about feeling good, it delivered on scale: 12 keynotes , 10 lightning talks , 56 technical sessions , 30 booths, and 4,000 attendees.

What’s Next for Kubernetes and PerfectScale by DoiT?

This year’s event reaffirmed one big truth: managing Kubernetes is getting more complex and automation isn't optional anymore, it’s essential. Teams are balancing GenAI workloads, multi-cloud footprints, and hybrid environments. That's exactly where PerfectScale by DoiT shines. It’s evolving into a smarter, offering autonomous optimization, enhanced workload insights (including GPU efficiency), and predictive cost control that adapts in real time. As Kubernetes grows smarter and more demanding, PerfectScale is rising to meet the challenge, making cost efficiency, resilience, and performance a seamless experience.

This year’s talks left me with a few big reflections: Kubernetes is stepping into the AI world in a serious way, Observability isn’t just tooling, it’s a mindset shift, and Scaling (whether it’s GitOps or developer experience) is as much about people as it is about tech.

Until next year’s KubeCon, keep building, keep learning, and keep connecting.
